Toddler Class

Bellevue College Parent Education typically offers a parent-toddler class at our facility on Tuesday mornings, from September through May. It is taught by our parent educator, Janelle Durham, and children's teachers Leng and Cymbric.

Our Daily Schedule

10 - 10:30 Free Choice Time with lots of play and learning opportunities

10:30 - 10:50 Opening Circle  - finger rhymes, songs, and stories

10:50 - 11:50 Half of the parents attend a discussion with our parent educator on child development and parenting while the children have more Free Choice Time, supervised by the teachers and the other parents.

11:55 - 12:00 Closing Circle, with songs and our "letter of the week" activity

Free Choice Stations include: art (painting, drawing, stickers and more), play-dough, fine motor skill builders, sensory bin, water table, blocks, trains, pretend play, large motor (gym), and more. In the springtime we add outdoor time on our playgound. Our toddler class helps your children learn and grow in all areas of child development.

If you have a child who will be between 24 and 36 months on September 1, learn more about the toddler classes in the Bellevue College Parent Education system and register at: https://www.bellevuecollege.edu/parented/classes/toddlers/.
